I discovered a passion for design about a month before I graduated with a degree in Business Finance. I came to the realization that I was much more interested in a passing billboard or the cover of a magazine than I was the price of oil or the future value of a one dollar bill. I wanted to find a way that I could combine my creative interests with what I had already learned about business. So my wife and I picked up our stuff and moved to California where I started a second degree at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. During my time at Art Center, I focused my studies on Transmedia Branding. I work to create narratives and brand experiences that can live and be told across various media platforms including print, interactive, motion, and space.
During my career I’ve had the pleasure of working on projects in many different verticals for brands big and small including Coca Cola, Lexus, Cheetos, GoDaddy, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, Sky Zone, Sirca, American Rag, Mark. by Avon, PCA Skin, UCLA, The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, Banc of California, MOCA, and Canadian Club Whisky among others.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Art Center College of Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance from the University of Utah.
I currently work as Creative Director at PocketRN, a health-tech startup focused on closing the gap between home and healthcare by putting a Nurse in the pocket of every citizen.
I live and work in Salt Lake City, Utah.
